Chiesetta di San Cristoforo

It is the ancient church still consecrated. It is the true soul of the Borgo around which it was built to host the monks and the wayfarers who had to travel from France to Milan. The first foundation dates back to the Longobard era (568-774

A.D.), then it was rebuilt in 1472 and consecrated as the “Oratory of San

Cristoforo” patron saint of travelers and wayfarers. Since it was a religious property belonging to the Vatican Curia, it has maintained over time, with the current owner family, the character of a magical place marked by strong emotions both of the historical buildings, but technologically appropriate, both for the external green real example of landscape architecture of the territory of the Park of Ticino.
